A/B Preference Testing

10 preference tests were conducted via UsabilityHub. I chose two different designs to see what was preferred.

Option A Option B

Test Results

50% of the participants preferred A from B and 50% preferred B over A. I included an option to explain why they liked either one, and received a lot of helpful feedback.

Conclusion

I decided to combine both of the different options.
I liked the wording and set up of the sign up and log in buttons in option B. It seems to be less busy and more appealing to the eye.
I like the graphic image and color scheme of option A so I wanted to keep that.
I think this is a good compromise between the two, and I plan on runnings more tests to make a more definitive decision.
